Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Check in and relax for the day. In the evening, enjoy an authentic Indian dinner at a local restaurant. The day will be free for leisure and light exploration. Tbilisi offers a charming blend of modern and ancient elements, and you may explore the nearby areas on your own if time permits.
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and head to Mtskheta (approx. 20 km, 30 minutes), a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, known for its remarkable history. Afterward, return to Tbilisi (30 minutes) to visit the Narikala Fortress, the Holy Trinity Cathedral, and the charming streets of the Old Town. Enjoy a relaxed evening and savor a traditional Indian dinner.
After breakfast, drive to Gori (approximately 80 km, 1.5 hours). Visit the Joseph Stalin Museum and then proceed to Uplistsikhe (15 km, 20 minutes), an ancient rock-hewn town with unique architecture. The day will involve exploration of the historical sites and scenic views. Later, return to Tbilisi (1.5 hours) and enjoy a delicious Indian dinner at a local restaurant.
Today, after breakfast, head towards Kutaisi (approximately 220 km, 4 hours). Visit the UNESCO-listed Bagrati Cathedral and Gelati Monastery. Explore the city and its rich culture, and don’t miss the beautiful Prometheus Cave, known for its stalactites and stalagmites. In the evening, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant, and rest overnight in Kutaisi.
Post breakfast, travel towards Vardzia (approximately 120 km, 2.5 hours), a stunning cave monastery complex nestled in the mountains. The site offers a fantastic glimpse into Georgia’s medieval history. On the way back to Kutaisi, you can stop at a traditional Georgian bathhouse for an authentic experience. After returning to Kutaisi, enjoy your Indian dinner and relax.
Today, after breakfast, head back to Tbilisi (approximately 150 km, 3 hours). En route, visit the David Gareja Monastery, a unique site carved into the rock faces of the semi-desert region. After this scenic excursion, you will reach Tbilisi by afternoon. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets or enjoying a relaxed walk along the river. Indulge in an Indian dinner at a restaurant before heading to your hotel for a restful night.
After a hearty breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed to Tbilisi International Airport for your flight back to India, carrying fond memories of your Georgian journey.
